We are seeking a dedicated Permanent Accounts Administrator to join our financial team at the Paisley site in Glasgow. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing diverse transactional processes including Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, Cash & Bank, and Nominal Ledger functions. Working closely with a small team, you will process accounting data efficiently, ensure adherence to controls, and deliver accurate bookkeeping support to aid our business operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, possess first-class experience in purchase and sales ledger functions within a busy manufacturing environment, and be proficient with Excel and finance systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365. The role requires someone who can work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and maintain high levels of accuracy, whilst building effective relationships with colleagues and stakeholders across departments.

What you will bring to the team:

  • Experience in First Class Purchase and Sales Ledger processing in a busy commercial or manufacturing environment
  • Strong attention to detail with high accuracy in financial data entry and processing
  • Highly numerate with excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Excel and the ability to quickly learn in-house finance systems, with familiarity in Microsoft Dynamics 365 being advantageous
  • Demonstrable 'can do, will do' attitude, able to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Experience with cashbook management and multi-currency processing is desirable
  • Able to build and maintain effective professional relationships with team members and external stakeholders
  • Self-motivated, credible, with a focus on continuous improvement and personal development

This role requires on-site presence, hybrid working is available however, the role cannot be carried out remotely on a full time basis.
