Operations Process Lead - Glasgow

Ref: 79Tuesday 14 April 2026

COMPETITIVE

Step into the role where performance meets purpose—take the lead on the factory floor, own the process, and drive results while building a high-performing, safety-first operation.

Right now, we’re on a journey. We’re building a culture where safety isn’t a checklist—it’s how we work, every day. Where production doesn’t just meet targets, it runs smarter, smoother, and more efficiently. Where teams don’t just respond to problems, they take ownership and solve them at the root. And where continuous improvement isn’t a project—it’s part of every shift, every process, and every person on the floor.

In this role you will:

  • Lead from the front on the shop floor, supporting a safe, efficient, and high-performing production operation.
  • Take ownership of daily performance, ensuring production plans are delivered and risks are proactively managed.
  • Champion high standards of Health & Safety and quality, ensuring they are consistently met and never compromised.
  • Empower and guide your team, building a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with maintenance and other teams to keep operations running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Use data and KPIs to monitor performance, drive decisions, and improve results.
  • Maintain a well-organised, audit-ready environment that reflects operational excellence.
  • Support the development of your team and contribute to wider improvement initiatives across safety, quality, and operations.

You’re someone who sees safety and performance as inseparable—where hitting targets means doing it the right way, every time.

  • You will bring experience of leading or supporting a team within a manufacturing or industrial environment, with a strong understanding of production KPIs.
  • You will bring a proactive, safety-first mindset and a commitment to high standards in Health & Safety, quality, and environmental practices.
  • You will demonstrate a continuous improvement approach, with the ability to identify issues, analyse root causes, and implement effective solutions.
  • You will have strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to prioritise, influence, and perform under pressure.
  • You will take a hands-on, team-focused approach, with the drive to support, coach, and develop others.

The impact you will have:

You will play a key part in ensuring production runs safely, smoothly, and efficiently, helping the team consistently meet customer demands and key performance targets. By embedding a strong culture of accountability, quality, and continuous improvement, you will help move the operation from reactive to proactive—where issues are prevented, not just solved. Your leadership will directly influence team performance, operational stability, and the ongoing improvement of processes, standards, and ways of working across the site.

What’s in it for you:

You’ll benefit from a comprehensive rewards package designed to support your wellbeing, financial security, and career development. This includes a company pension, life assurance, company sick pay, enhanced annual leave that increases with service, and access to a health and wellbeing programme alongside an Employee Assistance Programme with private GP services. You’ll also have opportunities to grow through coaching, training, and development support, plus practical perks such as cycle to work and electric vehicle schemes, free on-site parking, and access to a range of retail discounts.

We believe our strength comes from our people. We value diversity, encourage development, and create an environment where everyone can thrive.

Ready to be part of the story?

If you are passionate about leading from the front on the shop floor, driving safety, quality, and performance, and using data and continuous improvement to solve problems and raise standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment—and you want to be part of a hands-on, high-performing team—we’d love to hear from you.
