As a Quality Improvement Leader, you'll play a key role in driving quality performance across our operations. Working closely with the Quality Excellence Manager and wider operational teams, you'll use data, insight, and strong problem-solving skills to identify opportunities, reduce risk, and improve performance. From leading preventative quality initiatives and root cause investigations to strengthening our Quality Management System and supporting operational teams, you'll help ensure we continue to meet the high standards expected by our customers and support our manufacturing and sustainability ambitions.

In this role you will:
- Support the development of a strong quality culture across the business, promoting proactive behaviours and preventative quality activities.
- Work closely with the Quality Excellence Manager to develop and implement risk-based quality improvement initiatives that enhance Right First Time performance.
- Lead and support root cause investigations, ensuring robust corrective and preventative actions are implemented and sustained.
- Analyse quality, customer and supplier performance data using tools such as SPC, Excel and Power BI to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Monitor, audit and review quality processes, ensuring compliance with prescribed standards and the Quality Management System.
- Conduct product, process and system audits, ensuring actions are completed on time and effectively closed out.
- Review the effectiveness of completed corrective actions and drive further improvements where required.
- Support the timely management of non-conforming products, rework and internal rejects, ensuring accurate reporting and disposition.
- Ensure measurement and testing equipment is maintained, calibrated and operating safely.
- Collaborate with operational, technical, engineering, health, safety and environmental teams, as well as customers, to deliver consistent product quality.
- Maintain accurate quality records, reports and documentation, ensuring information is current, reliable and accessible.
- Contribute to the development of quality capability within the wider operational teams, including onboarding and training activities.
- Support the delivery of Quality KPI's and contribute to wider business performance objectives.
- Ensure all activities are carried out in compliance with environmental, health, safety and wellbeing standards.
You're someone who understands that quality needs to be integral to every part of the process.
- Holds an appropriate degree qualification or equivalent.
- Has experience within a manufacturing or automotive environment.
- Has a strong understanding of quality improvement tools, methodologies and problem-solving techniques.
- Is highly analytical and comfortable working with data to drive decision-making and performance improvement.
- Can communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues, management teams and customers.
- Has experience producing concise, fact-based reports and presenting findings to a range of audiences.
- Can demonstrate a track record of improving quality performance and delivering measurable results.
- Works collaboratively and builds strong relationships across different functions.
- Shows excellent attention to detail and takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work.
- Is proactive, adaptable and committed to continuous improvement.
