
As our Senior Manufacturing Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our manufacturing operation. Combining technical expertise, analytical thinking, and a passion for continuous improvement, you'll lead initiatives that optimise processes, improve product yield, reduce waste, and enhance manufacturing capability. Working across multiple functions, you'll transform ideas into practical solutions that deliver measurable improvements in safety, quality, productivity, and cost.
In this role you will:
• Lead Continuous Improvement initiatives that enhance product yield, reduce waste, and improve manufacturing efficiency across the production process
• Apply engineering principles, Design of Experiments (DOE), and data-driven analysis to optimise machinery, improve process capability, and drive operational performance
• Develop, standardise, and embed manufacturing best practices that improve consistency, quality, and operational excellence
• Analyse production data and performance trends to identify improvement opportunities, measure outcomes, and support evidence-based decision making
• Research emerging technologies and manufacturing innovations, evaluating and justifying investment in new equipment and processes to strengthen business capability
• Partner closely with Production, Technical, Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance teams to successfully deliver improvement projects from concept through implementation
• Coach, mentor, and develop Manufacturing Engineers, providing technical guidance while building capability and supporting a culture of continuous improvement
• Champion engineering excellence by promoting collaboration, innovation, and problem solving, ensuring improvements deliver sustainable benefits for the business

• You will hold a degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related discipline, with significant experience delivering process improvements within a manufacturing environment
• You have a proven track record of improving product yield, reducing waste, and delivering measurable operational improvements using Lean and Continuous Improvement methodologies
• You are experienced in Design of Experiments (DOE), process optimisation, statistical analysis, and using data to drive engineering decisions
• You hold, or are working towards, a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt qualification, with a strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles
• You possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, identifying root causes and implementing practical, sustainable engineering solutions
• You are an effective communicator and collaborator, building strong relationships across technical and operational teams to achieve shared objectives
• You have experience coaching, mentoring, or leading engineers, developing capability while creating an environment of accountability and continuous learning
• You are commercially aware, innovative, and motivated by delivering improvements that enhance safety, quality, productivity, customer satisfaction, and business performance
