Great manufacturing performance relies on reliable equipment, accurate data, well-controlled processes, and a strong focus on continuous improvement. As a Senior Manufacturing Process Technician, you'll play a key role within the Manufacturing Operations team in LCD, combining technical expertise with data-driven analysis to optimise processes, improve performance, and support Operational Excellence.
You'll lead the Process Technician team across shifts, ensuring machines and processes remain reliable, available, and capable of meeting production requirements. Working closely with Manufacturing Engineering, Production, and wider stakeholders, you'll use OEE, capacity planning, process analysis, and continuous improvement techniques to identify constraints, eliminate waste, and deliver measurable improvements.
A key part of the role will be developing and maintaining a factory simulation model using data from across the business. This will support scenario planning for changes in volume, product, process, capacity, and performance, helping the business make informed decisions and continually improve manufacturing capability.
In this role you will:
• Lead and manage the Process Technician team across all shifts, providing technical direction and support to ensure effective manufacturing operations.
• Manage day-to-day machinery and process performance, maintaining equipment uptime, reliability, availability, and production capability.
• Develop and maintain a robust factory simulation model, using data from business systems and virtual manufacturing tools to support scenario planning, capacity analysis, and operational decision-making.
• Analyse OEE, utilisation, capacity, work content, and process data to identify constraints, performance gaps, waste, and opportunities for improvement.
• Lead continuous improvement, productivity, and equipment improvement initiatives, applying Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, root cause analysis, work study, and time study techniques to deliver sustainable results.
• Coordinate preventative maintenance activities, consumables, and machinery requirements, ensuring equipment remains reliable and production needs are supported.
• Establish and maintain accurate process, work element, capacity, and utilisation data, ensuring information supports effective load and capacity planning.
• Work collaboratively with Manufacturing, Engineering, Production, and wider stakeholders to implement best-practice manufacturing methods, support new projects, and deliver cross-functional improvements.

• You have strong hands-on experience within a manufacturing, engineering, production, or process environment, with the technical capability to operate CNC and digital machinery used within LCD.
• You have a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, engineering practices, and technical drawings, with knowledge of CAD, CAM, ERP systems, and manufacturing layouts.
• You are confident working with manufacturing data, including OEE, capacity, utilisation, and work content, using analysis to identify trends, constraints, and opportunities for improvement.
• You have practical experience applying continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, waste elimination, root cause analysis, work study, and time study.
• You have working knowledge of D365 and are proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with the ability to use data and systems effectively to support operational decision-making.
• You are proactive and analytical, able to investigate problems, identify root causes, and translate data and observations into practical, sustainable improvements.
• You have experience managing projects and working with stakeholders across different levels and functions, communicating clearly and building effective relationships to deliver operational outcomes.
• You are organised, self-motivated, and capable of working independently while providing strong leadership to the Process Technician team, taking ownership of opportunities and driving safer, more efficient, reliable, and effective manufacturing processes.

You will play a central role in helping LCD achieve higher levels of Operational Excellence, combining hands-on manufacturing expertise with process analysis, data, simulation, and continuous improvement. Your factory simulation work will help the business understand the impact of changes to volume, capacity, products, processes, and performance, enabling better decision-making and earlier identification of constraints.
Through the analysis of OEE, capacity, utilisation, work content, and process performance, you'll identify opportunities to eliminate waste, improve equipment reliability and availability, and optimise manufacturing processes. You'll also provide day-to-day leadership to the Process Technician team, working closely with Manufacturing Engineering and Production to resolve issues, coordinate preventative maintenance, and support operational requirements.
