
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Permanent Operations Manager to oversee our Tannery operations based in Bridge of Weir, Glasgow. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the tannery, managing production processes, maintaining quality standards, and leading a team of operational staff. The successful candidate will play a key part in driving continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring health and safety compliance, and delivering production targets within budget. Your leadership will help sustain our reputation for high-quality leather manufacturing while fostering a positive working environment.
- Proven experience in Manufacturing Operations, preferably within a tannery or leather industry
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent organisational and planning abilities
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance
- Ability to analyse production data and implement improvements
- Good communication skills to liaise effectively with staff and stakeholders
